...this to be true or is it trucker folklore?
No Scout... it is definitely *not* folklore. Strange stuff happens out there on the "big road" particularly when you get in or around the metropolitan areas. Over the years... I've seen the good the bad and the ugly. From sexy exhibitionists... perverts... police pursuits... and horrific accidents. With the advent of the citizen band radio (for mobile communica- tions) back in the late Sixties... and the visual vantage point that a trucker has while seated in a cabover or convential rig... he or she is pretty much on top of the situation (no pun intended) as to what is going on and/or coming along. I believe Scotty who still gets out on the "big road" will attest to this highway phenomenon. Bill Note: My CB handle was/is "Willy" and my call sign on the other bands is N6TGC. |

Hey Bill,
Did you know a Willy.... to the british people is what they call a dick? The ******s wack their willies. I ran a 120ft crewboat for 3 yrs called the Texas Willie (Willie was the father of one of the investors) and you never heard such off the wall comments and bull**** as we did when we had BP passengers aboard. They would just carry on about naming the boat the Texas Willie.. We finally got a framed 8X10' picture of Willie Nelson and I signed it " Welcome Aboard My Boat Willie Nelson"..and put in on the forward bulkhead in the passanger cabin. Joe |
