Lucky for me I pay nothing for storage or slips!
First statement from Bobsprit that I actually believe. I've been working with the yard for 2.5 years now and at the moment am helping to get rid of a large quantity of abandoned boats...among other things. It's a lot of fun, plus I get quite a bit of marine items for myself. Sometimes I run into a problem...such as what to do with 200 brand new canoe paddles (3 and 4 foot). For my efforts I enjoy free storage, slip, painting and just about anything else within reason....such as the dodger that was custom made for Alien 2 years ago. It's really nice to have such a great relationship with a full service yard. My 35s5 truly gets treated like royalty...and I won't even have to wax her come spring. The only jobs I do are the ones I choose to do. RB 35s5 NY |
