34-36 foot boat built after 1988
PHRF below 140 (aprox)-quick boat) AFT CABIN SWIM PLATFORM Draft under 6 feet Cost under 75K A boat with the above features is common today. Hell, most 35 footers have aft cabins and plenty have swim platforms. Just buy a new C&C 99 for example. 135K for your troubles. But 15 years ago the US and much of the Canadian market was still making 70's interiors like Sloco's. The best Doug has been able to do is list boats that have half of the above features. He also listed boats bigger than specified, most with no aft cabins or swim platforms and so on. He struck out. So here's an open call. Match the 35s5's features listed above, only six of them....if you can. Don't embarrass yourself by claiming you can "add a swim platform." Either match the 35s5's VERY simple features above or shut up! My matches? The C&C 34XL Centerboard. VERY rare and usually a LOT more than 75K. So that doesn't count. Catalina 34? Too slow. Hunter 37? Too big. Keep trying! RB 35s5...simply the nicest boat here! NY |
