I spend summers on Lake Erie when I was a kid ( a kajillion years ago) back
when Pointe Pelee was still just a Provincial Park and not a bird sanctuary
(Jack Miner's was the sanctuary then, out by Leamington)...there wasn't a
lot of water in it then and I do believe Windsor was dumping her sewage into
the Detroit River then....

The sewage is several metres thick on the bottom of the Long Island
Sound..

That's why the Boobster has an odor and can't get employment. He
always talks about his swim platform.
