So you should endlessy wander?

You travel to visit and discover, to broaden your horizon, not to
wander forever towards one.

If you want to invest in a house to make money then thats fine, but
the bubble is bursting in realestate Bob.

Living on a sailboat is about freedom.

Dream on. Unless you are connected to this drivel by a satellite
connection from some distant, secluded anchorage, siping martinis that
some minion made, your freedom is a myth. Freedom is not having to suck
the blackwater out of your tank, paint the bottom, change the oil and
fill the tanks. Freedom is owning the dock, the boat, a house, condo in
Aspen and a travel agency. Freedom is someone else getting up to check
the lines at 0200. Living on a boat is the pain that some of us
ordinary people are willing to put up with to have a small taste of
freedom but freedom it ain't

Too bad you missed out on those house deals!

Too Bad? Last house I bought, I sold it 4 years later and doubled my
investment.

Wireless is here, the price will drop and I will indeed be in a
secluded cove or lagoon sipping martini's soon. Best thing is I will be
making good money while I do it.

Capt. Poop sucks out the waste, I dont even have to be here. Mexicans
paint the bottom and I do not mind tinkering with engines.

Shoulden't you be out raking leaves or something?

That's not freedom, that's just bigger bills.

Living on a boat is a choice like anything else in life.
Some of us love it, and don't see the "pain" you speak of.
