Well, sure. What's the "practical" use of any sailboat? This
one is good for only one thing... having fun while sailing.
I mean, it doesn't even have a stern platform fer gosh sake!

... for LIS where one risks cancer and worse
every time a drop of foam splashes one.

Maybe that explains why Boobsie always goes "sailing" with a

I take it back, Jeff. Based on Doug's "Joke" above, you're the Groucho
of the group, the Jack Benny of ASA and the Larry Fine of online

Then who were you reffering to having hard chines when you said "
hard chine hulls tend to be a bit more noisy & bouncy than others in
the same
displacement category."

I dunno - 7 knots carrying a 2-inch layer of "fecal material" from
sailing
LIS sounds fast to me.

The water looks the same as SF Bay or any other enclosed
body of water.

Did *you* read Dougs' claim to buying a sailboat in Fl.?

The funny thing is, I bought two sailboats in Florida, both
of which were bigger & nicer than the one Bubbles claims
(although only one of them was more expensive), but it was a
long time ago.

Neither were delivered by truck, either, since I lived in
Florida at the time (although they were several days travel
from my home port).

But of course, the Boobsie twins want to get all upset
because I own a trawler, which was also bought in Florida
and was delivered by my wife & myself, on the water the
whole way, to NC... a farther distance than Bubbles &
Bitty-Bill-Joe have sailed in all their lives.

Let me tell you what I would do if I bought a boat in Florida
this time of year. I'd keep the boat in the Caribbean this winter
and sail it back on May 1st. Wouldn't you Doug?

I'm sure any real sailor who lived between Annaplis and Halifax would
do the same.
