That seems possible but it's not going to happen in any
conditions *you* will ever sail in. How is that? On several occasions we had the C&C 32 over 10 knots on a reach in 25-35 knots or air coming off of small swells. Wasn't hard at all and the 35s5 will go faster. and the newer 36.7 has gone even faster. Which is relevent how, exactly? Seriously? Okay, well I'm trying to explain to Joe that his metal motorsailor is not likely to even match the ultimate speeds that racer cruisers are able to routinely achieve. This past summer I sailed a J35 and we blasted beyond 11 and 12 knots on numerous occasions. It aint gonna happen on Joe's boat often, if ever. Do you agree? RB 35s5 NY |
