"Bart Senior" .@. wrote in message ... I've been thinking about a dog for a while. It's a 15 year commitment.... something to consider. These are not little dogs. Both have weighed over a hundred pounds at one point. The bigger maxed out a 118 lbs. My dog ain't gonna be bigger than 30lbs..... the Rhodesian is a 100lbs of lion hunter...fast & strong. Which one do you think will have a better time on a sailboat? Anyway, it is fun to have the dogs around, but the barking got old--it was such a nice day, everyone was walking or driving by scoping out the activity and prepping their own boats for the winter. That's the owner not establishing a proper protocol for the dogs. Have you looked at any specific breeds yet? I'd go with a purebred from a registered kennel. CM |
