They are truly not a substitute for selftailng winches, but they are far from worthless, and they cost almost nothing. Cheap *******! buy some real self tailers, like I have on my boat. If you find no other benefits, wait until the next time you slip and bang a body part on a winch! The Winchers make it a much less painful experience. Bwahahahah Clumsy oaf!
