Have any of you all heard of Eileen Quinn?
Scotty wrote: Singer from Canaduh? Had some problems entering the US? I think she had some problems getting in to Mystic Seaport, but I dunno about the U.S. She gave a concert in Oriental, her husband thought it was near Greenville SC instead of NC, so they were a little late. We really enjoyed the concert. DSK |

Here's an old classic.
Writer deceased and unknown SEIDELMANN (sung to Beatles "Nowhere Man") He owns a real Seidelmann, It handles like a carbage can, Sailing all his nowhere plans for nobody. Can't point or even heave to, Knows not what he'll do…in bad weather, he'll probably try to…call the coast guard Seidel-Man, please listen, You don't know what you're missing, Seidel-Man, your boats worth less than canned spam! He's as dumb as he can be, Just sees what Steve wants him to see, Seidel-Man can you show some spine at all? Doesn't have a thing to lose, when he goes upwind, she just stalls. Seidel-man, don't worry, You hardly spent any money, But your choice of boat is still funny Hey, can't you see you've flushed away 5K? He's a real Siedel-Man, Most people spend more on frying pans, Sailing all his nowhere plans for nobody. For nobody Sailing all his nowhere plans for nobody! "Scout" wrote in message ... Heard this today, one of my favorites;
Grand Funk Railroad I'm Your Captain Everybody, listen to me, And return me, my ship. I'm your captain, I'm your captain, Although I'm feeling mighty sick. I've been lost now, days uncounted, And it's months since I've seen home. Can you hear me, can you hear me, Or am I all alone. If you return me, to my home port, I will kiss you mother earth. Take me back now, take me back now, To the port of my birth. Am I in my cabin dreaming, or are you really scheming, To take my ship away from me? You'd better think about it, I just can't live without it. So, please don't take my ship from me. Yeah, yeah, yeah ... I can feel the hand, of a stranger, And it's tightening, around my throat. Heaven help me, Heaven help me, Take this stranger from my boat. I'm your captain, I'm your captain, Although I'm feeling mighty sick. Everybody, listen to me, And return me, my ship. I'm your captain, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm your captain, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm your captain, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm your captain, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... "Capt. Rob" wrote in message oups.com...
