I can't vouch for the Beneteaus but I can say Coronados were built for
the quality conscious. Check around and try to find a Coronado on the
market. They are hard to find and thousands were built. The fact of
the matter is they are mostly out plying the waters of the world with
very pleased owners. More than I can say for wimpy pilot house
Gulf 29s

EBay! Gimme a break. Nobody looks on EBay to buy a boat.
Not even Bobsprit is that dumb! Ebay is where you go when
your selling junk. You won't find a decent example of a yacht
of any brand on EBay.

If you have a quality boat like most Coronados you can easily
hire a broker and get top dollar.

Beg to differ. A C&C 37R in great shape just sold for forty grand on
ebay. A better boat and a better deal than the Boob's new ride. There
was a FARR 395 on there a month ago.

And so, if you are a shopper for brand names, then you should not buy.

Saw that. Put in a bid on the C&CR, I'd guessed it would go north of
$50K. If I'd been able to get up there and take a look, I might have
ended up with it. Bet the other C&CR owners are not happy!

Yeah...I can really use a boat with 8 foot draft and a crappy interior!
It's also nearly 40 LOA. The XL version is fast and nicer overall, and
less likely to have been raced to death.
Did you inspect the boat or are you just going by what you heard?
Wait, let me guess!

RB
35s5...a nicer boat than Loco's!

They're a dime a dozen out here. Nothing special about them at all
either by price or quality. I assume this is Neal's bs again. He
obviously spent a lot of time on getting his in shape, but how can
anyone seriously like living in such cramped quarters for an extended
period. You've got to be kidding.
