What Happened?

Looking at people like Jeff and Doug, I have to ask (and others
certainly must wonder) what the hell happened????

You can chant on about trawlers and multi's being a sailboat
alternative. The Trawler is economical and roomy. The Multi is roomy
and doesn't heel...won't scare the wife and kids. But what kind of wife
wants that and how cowardly have you made your kids?
These boats have their place, but they are not about to be of any
interest to someone who'd want a First 35s5, J35 or even a Swan 47. The
charm and alure of real sailboats, boats that sail like boats have for
many years, is unchallenged. Why give it up?

Ladies and gentlemen...a real sailboat...fast and fun....

bs, please define fast? After all, we are talking
about sailboats. Think about it, I can run faster
than you could sail that Benetaeu.

Nice Picture Nutsy;

Shows the cramped cockpit very well. Loaded with three people. Now show
us a picture of the Head Door jammed by the Nav Station's seat keeping
it from opening even 1/2 way.

We've yet to see that "Rat Hole" of the After Cabin, that takes away
Cockpit space, like the Swim platform.

I can't vouch for the Beneteaus but I can say Coronados were built for
the quality conscious. Check around and try to find a Coronado on the
market. They are hard to find and thousands were built. The fact of
the matter is they are mostly out plying the waters of the world with
very pleased owners. More than I can say for wimpy pilot house
Gulf 29s

EBay! Gimme a break. Nobody looks on EBay to buy a boat.
Not even Bobsprit is that dumb! Ebay is where you go when
your selling junk. You won't find a decent example of a yacht
of any brand on EBay.

If you have a quality boat like most Coronados you can easily
hire a broker and get top dollar.

They're a dime a dozen out here. Nothing special about them at all
either by price or quality. I assume this is Neal's bs again. He
obviously spent a lot of time on getting his in shape, but how can
anyone seriously like living in such cramped quarters for an extended
period. You've got to be kidding.

Beg to differ. A C&C 37R in great shape just sold for forty grand on
ebay. A better boat and a better deal than the Boob's new ride. There
was a FARR 395 on there a month ago.
