Only those with current licenses from the USCG can use Capt.
or Captain in the From: line and in their signature.

Let's stamp out the phony captains.

You know how I feel about the subject. I've
been vocal enough about how pretencious, pompous
self-important, shallow, hollow, fake, deceitful,
two-faced, double-dealing, vain, and self-important
Swabbie is, to claim he is a Captain. I'd tolerate it if
he had 40 years of sailing experience--that will never
happen.

When you consider what he has done to his reputation,
you have to agree he is stupid also.

Swabbie Robbie, a danger to himself and others!

Let make this into a formal Captains check-in.
We have lots of real Captains in the group. Check
in now.

BG Old I may be (depending on your point of view), retired, I'm not. The
Masters license is very current, since I'm still
using the "First Class Pilot" endorsement to it....... sorry.
I only use the term "Capt." at work/professionally. Those who address me as
"Capt." outside of work, do so, for their own reasons.

Well the RCMP referred to me as Captain in the warrant!
I water-bombed a boat full of lawyers!
They filed a formal complaint
I placed my log as evidence.
The lawyers didn't have a log
The lawyers decided not to procede.
I have a file at "G" Division labelled "Overproof -Piracy"
It cites I am the Captain of the vessel.
I rest my case gentlmen! :-)
