Not a mistake then, simply a miscalculation!
I should send you a satellite photo of my singlehanded clearcut. It's
visible for miles on the ground!

Laid up all weekend... the victim of a widow maker while chainsawing
leaners
Hairline fracture on the collar bone and a bruised shoulder. Tylenol 3
is
kickin' in nicely.
Real men don't make those kind of mistakes.
Sure they do Gilligan.... but rest assured I wasn't wearing chaps,
hardhat
or gloves and I was working alone! Another 6 inches and that deadfall
would've clipped my noggin' for certain.
Since you would be one of the few to understand... 5 40ft+ leaners in a
tangle.... you couldn't discern a widowmaker up there from any angle...
I
cut the outside left leaner and it caught the break enough to flip that
thing clean out of the tops. I saw it coming as I was backing off... like
it
was being thrown at me.
