that brings up another topic. she wanted a photo printer, too. I
suggested to take pics , view and edit them, then take the ones she wants to Wal Mart and get them printed there. good idea? SBV "Thom Stewart" wrote in message ... Scotty, Just about this time last year, I brought a Kodak Easy Share CX7330 for under $140 at K-Mart on a Christmas Sale. I also brought a Kodak printer at the same time, also around $140. It had a dock and battery charger for the camera. Great Prints! I needed to purchase a plug in cable to connect to the VCR ($10) thru Kodak e-bay. I'm not a Camera freak, so I asked Nutsy's advice. I wanted a size camera but big enough so this old man could operate it with my old fingers and eyes. He suggested the Oly. K-Mart had them on sale for just under $300. Right next to them was the Kodak Easy Share for $140 and the print/dock/charger at $140. It was the perfect set-up for me. I love the damn thing. You have been looking at the picture on my WebPage ever since. I'm attaching a photograph of the camera with this post, setting in the charger/printer. The Camera is about 3" by 4" and about 1" thick. Has Auto focus, flash, zoom lense, and auto lense cover and a 18 picture internal memory/ with a plug in for extra memory. My choice, for what it's worth. Good Luck Ole Thom http://community.webtv.net/tassail/ThomPage ----------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- |

Yeah, or she could upload the ones she wants to Sony Image Station and they'll send her prints for 19 cents each. Seahag |

Scotty,
I'm really out of my class giving Photo advice BUT I like the printer as much as I like the Camera. I like the ability to down load to the VCR ($10) thru the plug in. That is how I view/store my snap shots. When people like a photo I can print that photo in the quantity that is needed right then and there. (The camera can duplicate right from the TV screen very well) It isn't salon Quality but it sure as hell great snap shot quality. The printing paper is a little expense but really not that bad and when you don't have to print out every picture its a damn good bargain. As you know, I'm a Webber and I can keep a scrap book of photos on file for my Web Page or a single picture attachment, to any Post. Scott, I'd give up my GPS before I'd give away either my Camera or Printer/charger/dock. They are both part of my life right now! By the way, if your Daughter has a Computer, The Camera comes with a plug in cable to down pictures to the Computer. Again, A great Christmas Present that will be used year 'round, if it isn't a bother. My Camera does fall into the Point & Shot category and the printer gives me the ability to change the size and crop photos. Hope the Birthday Party was fun. Ole Thom P/S my Web Page is made up of picture from my camera. A lot duplicated from other prints http://community.webtv.net/tassail/ThomPage |

Scotty, the Epson R320 sells for 115 bucks at Circuit City and prints photo quality prints borderless 8.5X11. It's a bit slow, but pretty durable and the prints are excellent even compared to my 600.00 dollar larger format Epson. It's well worth buying. RB |

Or, she can upload to webshots or ofoto, and order prints from them.

All of the pharmacy chains offer the same services, some of them will let you send the images to them, then go to the store and pick up your prints. John Cairns |
