And we all know that 'brand recognition' is top priority for a
*real* sailor. Brand recognition is step one in the process of finding the right boat. Almost everyone here has a known brand of some type. You don't rely on the name 100% either way, but it's a start. You also have an idea about your investment when you buy a specific make. That's important if you plan to buy larger or smaller boats over time. You can also research specific makes to learn what features you might want, even if you end up building your own boat. Scotty knows less about boats than Loco it would appear! RB |
