Anyway, Arthur can't be much more than a footnote (or less) in the
history of
sailing. He's below the all pervasive and inclusive radar of Google

I found him easily on Google and Dogpile including pics of him with Ted
Turner from the 79 Fastnet. Also found pics of him with Roy Disney.
Like I said, I'll post info on him shortly. He's the real deal and
doesn't spend time on the web. At 73 he's still racing. A bad knee and
hip is slowing him down, so he's letting the 35s5 go. Lucky for me. The
condition of the boat is nothing short of a miracle. My website will
soon have full details, including pics from my sail aboard her and one
last sail (before she comes home) in St. Petersburg in a few weeks.

It doesn't make me any more important, famous, or a better sailor,
just because
I know somebody else.

Nope, this particular fellow has been part of some pretty important
sailing events. I'll disclose all when our business is done.

I can already tell the Boob chose this boat to buy so he can tell
people at cocktail parties who used to own his boat figuring that will
impress folks and they will think higher of him. Problem is, Dennis
Conner didn't own it and that's the only name anybody outside of
sailing has ever heard of.
