Scott, Didn't handle wet sail covers. Sailed on the head sail alone. Ah! the joy of furler sails. A definite plus. Thom, how high will your boat point under headsail alone? Actually cleared off and wind picked up some. No "white caps" so it did stay pretty much below 10 knots. I was knocking on hull speed up wind and reaching but downwind I had to head up to stay at 3 kn Skies looked ugly while I was out and as the wind started clocking around to the north I headed in. Had the bay to my self except for a Tug with a pile driving barge. Sounds like a great time. Did you have your 4 legged crew along? Here it's a beautiful spring day. Not much wind though.
