Donal..... the word "Indian" is not acceptable to the North American Native
population. You may refer to them as North American Aboriginals, Natives, or
their distinct Tribal Group.....

Regardless..... understand they lost the war. It's not their land anymore.

You have a loose understanding of the word racist then IMO. Taking
pride in oneself or one's background including race... has nothing to
do with being a racist.

Not really... it seems you have only one interpretation of racist.

Now one dictionary meaning is :
1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and
capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a
particular race.

I believe that different races have their inherant traits and capacities....
generated by a lineage of circumstance, climate, conditioning and
requirements. Inherent superiority of one race is limited to context and
existing conditions. No one race can claim superiority in all aspects. All
races must be afforded respect. It is not wrong for me to be proud of my
racial origins. If you have no respect for other races you merely demean
your own heritage! The fact that being a white male, resonably educated and
able to understand the benifits that brings me .. in no way renders me
incapable of comprehending limitations imposed on myself or those of other
races...

Scotty,

At my age, I'm the one scoping out the best door to use if retreat is
necessary.

You know guys, I'm 78 yrs old and seen my share of brawls and you know
what? I can't seem to remember any winners. Losers I remember by the
scores

The one that holds 1st place was it 1943 in San Jose, Calif. Long before
Silicone Valley, I was 18 yrs old. Two buddies and I hitched a ride into
town. A town of transit farm workers, mostly Mexicans. The young
Americans were in uniforms. The three of use were looking over the
place when a Young sailor comes out of a Bar with a pretty Latino girl
on each arm and a smile from ear to ear. He had the world by the "nuts.
He took no more than two steps when two Guys step up to him and Cold
Cock him as pretty as you please. He couldn't get either arm up to
defend himself. There was a girl holding each arm.

Us young salty sailor carried our wallets slung over the top of our
pants. The navy "Bell Bottom" pocket was to small. The three of us ran
to help him but before we could reach him the girls and guys and his
wallet were flying down the street. He came around OK a much wiser young
man. In fact 4 wiser young sailors. That was the last time I ever
carried a wallet on Liberty. A money clip was my money keeper after
that.

My sea story for today!

I believe that on average, the black athlete is a superior specimen.
Notwithstanding the exceptions, the black dudes I've wrestled and played
football with just seemed naturally stronger and quicker. Plenty of white
guys were strong and fast, but they had to work harder for it, on average.
Just a personal observation, but keep in mind that I was in the thick of it.

That's a very interesting comment. I wasn't aware that I had put a boogie
beat on the bass. In fact, I've used the metronome to try to make sure that
I play it correctly. I've really worked hard to get the bass correct.

Does it really seem to have a boogie beat the whole way through?

It's the same with
others who have tried to improve on what's already perfect....why? Why

take
something that's beautiful and turn it into something else?

I wasn't trying to improve on it. I really thought that I was playing it
"note for note".

I thought that my demonstration would show that Bach was the father of
modern blues. Bach was one of the first composers to make use of the
"chordal progression" which is the foundation upon which blues, jazz, and
rock is based.

Also, I've recently been learning a Bach piece that seems to be the
inspiration for one of Pink Floyd's songs.

Instead, write
your own rather than changing what someone else has created....

Honestly, I didn't think that I had changed it. I played it to the best of
