I genuinely believe that black people are better at music than white people. Music is in the ear of the beholder. Can you tell just by listening if it's a black or white piano player? Generally, yes. There are some very good white piano players, but most of the greatest are black. See if you can find a copy of Honky Tonk Train Blues recorded by Meade Lux Lewis in 1937. Why?, I don't like blues, it makes me sad. SV |

I think Bach, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Liszt, Van Cliburn,
Beethoven, just to name a few, would find this whole thread very amusing... "Scott Vernon" wrote in message ... "Scout" wrote...
The Indians invaded this land about 20,000 years ago. They're outsiders too. Yes, but at least they *walked* here. Doesn't that count for a lot? Donal wrote: Nah! Surely, after a thousand years they should be considered to be 'native'? Hell no. After all, if the cat had kittens in the oven, that wouldn't make 'em bisquits, either. BTW here is an old album that tells all about it http://www.tuatha.org/horslips/symphony.html DSK |

Here Katy, just for you! www.lanode.com/priv/bachblue.mid Not very good, but Bach provided the inspiration for much modern music. Regards Donal -- |
