Don't know, did you ask the Navy?

And records show schools of Dolphins and Whales have been beaching
themselfs long before the advent of sonar.

Yet I agree we need to see if there is a link, and if so the Navy
needs to change it's equipment to an all passive style, or use another
form of active pinging.
