So what's your point? I went from soaring at 260 kph to 5 kph in your
vessel. So what if it's a bit slower, I'll have time to take a shower
before we arrive. lol

Nothing wrong at all, they are great airplanes.

Just don't get in a hurry, because if you get in a headwind at their crusing
speed, it's like standing still.

Nice airplane, my friends in Tulsa used to have one, until the IRS made them
sell it to pay their taxes.

Sure thing.

Cool. Will Seahag be joining us?

How far is it to Nova Scotia from your house or sailboat? :-)

yes a nice airplane
small.......fast

a friend used to own one and we would fly up and down the hudson river
within VFR, well below the top of the WTC (sometimes below the top of the
palisades)
doubt that's possible anymore.

Not anymore, unless you were someone that could get some kind of special
clearance.

I remember not long after 9-11, a pilot asked permission to circle the
statue of liberty with some military personnel coming back from Iraq. I'm
not sure what the altitude, but not exceptionally low and he was granted
permission. The 9-11 lines became jammed and thought NYC was under another
attack. I can't believe the idiots in NYC are such scaredy cats.
