I am looking for advice, and a mentor of sorts to guide me through my refit
of my new boat. I want to add a new bulkhead and modify a lot of things in
the interior, as well as new rigging and sails. The work I can do, I just
want to be sure that i am doing things as well as I could. I need
information and advice regarding products like what to use to bind 3/4
marine plywood to fiberglass, etc. Anyone willing to help?

You are very much in luck. There is a member here, a certified Master

Neal is a good source of information and he has first hand experience.
Some of the work he has done is excellent

When Mich was here the last time, we ran into a guy from Calif with the
prettiest Cor25 I've ever seen. He had made some modification that were
really great. I was impressed by his work. I grabbed his card.
He is a designer, so I'm not sure if his information has a price tag on
it or not?

P/S that advice about Peggy Hall is right on. I know her as the
"Princess of Poop" and she knows more about "Heads" than all of us put

Neal can be a sort of mentor but please don't put those bargain Hong
Kong Sails on. Also, if you put a Bimini On, make sure you mount the
hardware so you can turn a winch handle 360 degrees when you have to use
the winch.

Listen to the "Princess of Poop" and not the Cedar Bucket user (Unless
you dump to a disposal station)

Don't take Neal's advice on Boom Repair

I'm a advocate of Self Furling Head Sails; Neal is not. That will make a
difference in your Fore Headstay.

Get him to send you a picture of what he did for his cockpit seats. As
nice a job as I've seen. He does keep a trim craft and does it on the
cheap. That is meant as a compliment!
