I The rental companies don't want you to use them, I doubt they
supply them, and putting them on is not a lot of fun if the weather

turns
nasty. There are crews that do it for you, but they charge $30.

Hoo boy, what a girlie man. I bet Ellen could put her own chains on.
But then she's more manly than you are. Cripes, Liberace was more
manly than you.

I heard that this was more like a rental fee; crew on one side puts the chains on, up and over you go and on the other
side another crew takes them off?

Yep... they're very good at their job... takes a couple of minutes and
you're done. A real assembly line. I haven't used them in years, as I have a
Jeep.

Scotti Potti is jealous because he doesn't have a spare $30.

2 points here Jon...... only Mericans & Aussies would need chains on any
road you might have down there... and since Scotty drives a real truck...
he'd have his own set of chains and be quite familiar as to how to put them
on .

Mooron, it's got nothing to do with ability. The cops will not allow anyone
beyond a certain point unless you have either snow chains or a 4x4. And,
it's not a matter of ability to put them on. It's a matter of desire to not
get out of the vehicle. I know you Canuks are poor, but even in your money
that's only about $100.
