G Out of what context did you grab THAT pearl?-

Didn't you support Joe's contention that it was OK to do 35kts in a
busy
waterway, in fog, using the radar as your "lookout"?

LOL You on another fishing trip Donal?

Yes!

Are you still convinced that it's ok to do 35kts in a busy waterway using
Radar as your only means of keeping a lookout?

Nope.

My memory must be slipping.

Sorry.

Does that mean that you agree that Joe is a dangerous, rule breaking,
lunatic when he speeds around in fog using his Radar as his only means of
"lookout"?

Neal,

Haven't you ever been in a condition at sea when it has been to damn
dangerous to be on Deck? There are times when it is necessary to get
below and wedged in and pray that the vessel will not roll 360 or Pitch
pole. What is the proper watch in that condition?

I was on a boat with 3 other people and it was necessary to "Lay a'hull"
and get every one below and let the vessel take care of us. 6hrs- plus
before any one stuck a head out. Watch keeping be damned

Cappy hasn't posted for a few days. Perhaps he's staying on deck 24/7
keeping a proper mooring watch.
