No, deficit spending and legislating morality are liberal favorites. The major fiscal difference between GWB and Teddy K is that Teddy would raise taxes while Bush borrows from the Euros, Japan and China leaving us beholden to them. who thinks he's a conservative cuz he voted GOP. There's really no difference between the Republicans and Democrats. Let's
look: 1. They both want to expand government. So far, Bush has grown it the most. 2. They both want to subsidize special interests. For Democrats that's typically minorities, of which they want to keep helpless and dependent. For Republicans that's typically big business, of which they keep bloated and inefficient. 3. They both ignore the Constitution. Look at Federal Health Care, Education, War without Congressional Declaration, the gun grab, etc. I used to think that the Republicans were the slower path to tyranny. Now, it's a crap shoot. Vote for gridlock so nothing gets done. Vote any incumbent out and vote against any tax or budgetary increase. Gilligan "Vito" wrote in message ... Max What office was Michael Moore running for, Prime minister of obesity, ugliness, and lies. and what GOP candidate ran against him that attracted moderate Dem voters? Tim Russert predicted that MM would alienate as many democrat voters as he would attract. A wash. He was probably ineffective, ultimately. Max |
