You should have 'ploughed' before it got so cold so that the frost could
break up your clods of earth.

Yo remove it from where it is....you use a snowplow to plow the snow from
the road....you've probably never seen more than 2 inches of it in any one
place at any one time....ever tried driving through 8 inches of the stuff?

We're supposed to get a largish amount tonight and then send it on your
way...we've got floods going on downriver from all the ice flows backing up
in the Grand...the cows who live down the hill were almost up on the
railroad tracks last weekend because the river took over their
pasture...well above the 50 year flood plane here and well record levels
downstream...if we get another huge snow and quick melt, there's going to be
a whole lot of people hurting for housing...

Thank you Katy for the civilised answer.

Where I come from, "ploughing" means "turning over" - so I didn't understand
Scotty's post.

I'm glad that both Scotty and Oz1 managed to get an ego boost from my
ignorance. They usually have to depend on large, petroleum powered, engines
to demonstrate their masculinity.
