OK, Bart, $5 it is. It'll mean my lunch money for the week, but I
love my Steelers. The Jets game made me VERY nervous! I think we'll be able to tell in the first 10 minutes who's going to win. It's 14* f , wind chill -2*F. We got about 10''. I plowed about 6'' yesterday at 4PM, snowed 4'' through the night. Dang but it's cold out. BTW, I'll be in Manhattan tomorrow morn, Scotty "Bart Senior" wrote in message ... Scotty, I'll let you off easy. How about $5--just to make the game interesting? Or we could make it a beer. I won't let you off for less than a beer. I wish the Pats were playing the Jets at Foxboro for the Conference Championships tomorrow. The Jets had the Steelers beat and blew it, just like San Diego did the week before. Can you believe it? Two weeks in a row! That game last week assured me the Patriots will beat the Steelers. If it were the Jets tomorrow, I'd have plenty of takers on a small wager. Jet's fans out-number me here in SW Connecticut. And, they bet with their hearts, so I could clean up. Right now we have a foot of snow and about 12 degrees out. Tomorrow it drops to 2 degrees at night. The weather looks very cold. Pittsburgh weather will be in the 20's. Lets see how Cheeseburger does with or without a glove. Bart "Scott Vernon" wrote Sorry, Bart, my wife won;t let me bet on football games. "Bart Senior" wrote HOw about you Scotty? Want to put some money on the Steelers? I'll take any amount up to $100 where I take the Patriots. |

We woke up to -8F real Godknowswhatwindchill and sunny...the cedar waxwings,
cardinals and nuthatches are thronged around the feeder and the all 3 varieties of woodpeckers are at the suet this morning...we cleared out over a foot last night..looks like we're back to a normal winter pattern here instead of the stuff we've been having the last 6 years or so... Only 14 inches here. I'm worried about the wind.
Gusts over 40 mph. I hope my shrink wrap holds together. Ideally, this one will be won in the trenches. I don't think either team will get blown out early tonight. It's 14* f , wind chill -2*F. We got about 10''. I plowed about 6'' yesterday at 4PM, snowed 4'' through the night. Dang but it's cold out. You got it easy - Its 12F here now. I blew 24 inches this morning, and there's another 6+ now. Fortunately its tapering off now so I'll be able to finish my stuff and help the neighbors before game time. |

![]() Wrong again. It boils down to coaching. Cower is going to out-coach Bellacheck(SP?). His players are going to rough up the sissy Patriots. Sissy Brady will go down in the second quarter with a concussion. The Patriots just aren't tough enough. Steelers 35, sissy Pats 17. I have spoken. CN "Jeff Morris" wrote in message ... Seems like the REAL men are for the Steelers.

Patriots 41 Steelers 27
Did you notice that late in the third quarter, the score was what I predicted, Patriots 34, Steelers 20? Not only did I pick the winner, I nearly guess the score perfectly. You just picked the wrong length of the game! Although the Steelers
kept fighting, it was clear at that point that their spirit was broken. Two plays later was the Wilson inception and all hope fizzled. I wonder how many others here have played on a national championship team.
I wonder how many others have coached an undefeated season. I wonder how many others have coached a team to 6 consecutive shut outs. Coaching is critical at draft. After you pick the right horses, just try to not screw up. It's all about picking the right horses. Scout "Capt. Neal®" wrote in message ... Wrong again. It boils down to coaching.
