13.5 knots, on two occasions. Once under power (the mast was down), the
other time under sail. Both times were surfing down waves with a good
tail wind, about 25 knots.

I've had more out of my monohull - under sail(of course), on many occasions.

The best was a very brief 15.2 during the RTI race a couple of years ago.

Sounds like fun. Of course, if you're racing I assume you have a full
crew and a lightened boat. I'm almost always shorthanded, and generally
assume I'm sindlehanded. My wife usually helps raising and lowering,
etc., but often I'm on deck alone - thus I reef early and don't carry
the chute in high winds. And whenever we're in open water the boat is
loaded for a month or more cruising.

I've been told that sister ships have done up to 17 knots, but that was
with the factory team on unused boats. Several owners claim around 15,
and as I've said the racing version is extreme, easily hitting 17-18
knots. But my needs are different.
