![]() You can hide behind misdirection. I said institutions have nothing to do with the failing of individual humans as in hypocrisy. It is you attempting to justify hypocrisy because hypocrites can hide behind institutions. The fact is they can only hide from people who wish to excuse their actions because they, themselves are hypocrites. This is a liberal tactic which is used day in and day out. When I refer to the Catholic church I refer to the individual members therein. I simply pointed out how individual Catholics failed to stick to their roots and failed more miserably trying to modernize. This is because the majority of Catholics are hypocrites. The main message is beautiful but the application is all greed & power. OTOH unlike most other Christian church officials, the Pope will still wash the feet of a beggar. ... I do not justify hypocrisy. I abhor hypocrisy. The institution is not
hypocritical, it is the people within who create the hypocrisy. The majority of people who make up the institution, though, are not.
