Yep. That's one reason why I live here instead of there. OTOH we will
finally get rid of the mosquitoes in the back yard, which managed to
hang on through the last near-freeze.

We didn't have many this year...it never got warm enough for them to
incubate...of course, the threat of West Nile went way down...
