The point being;
You're sailing a SLUG! Tripp designed the 27 to compete in the 1/2 Ton rated IOR class and it failed. Failed badly. Beaten by Cals, San Juans, Pearsons, Newports, even the old Columbia 26 outperformed it in IOR. That was boat on boat, no handicap Sorry to brake the news to you after all these year but I thought you knew. You are sailing a Slug, and that stands for slow. and that as a R/C spells failure.
