"The silliest thing I've seen in a while?"

Ole Thom

Thom Stewart December 21st 04 10:32 PM

CN,

You memory CN. It is failing you, badly!
You're rather young for that to happen.
The 150 year reign of the AC was broken by a boat named "Australia II"
It wasn't a Kiwi boat. It had a Wing Keel. The first one ever used in AC
Racing.

The AC is in the hands of the SWISS!! They took it away from the KIWI's

I hope this ENLIGHTEN you :^)

Ole Thom

Thom Stewart December 21st 04 10:57 PM

The point being;

You're sailing a SLUG!
Tripp designed the 27 to compete in the 1/2 Ton rated IOR class and it
failed. Failed badly. Beaten by Cals, San Juans, Pearsons, Newports,
even the old Columbia 26 outperformed it in IOR. That was boat on boat,
no handicap

Sorry to brake the news to you after all these year but I thought you
knew.

You are sailing a Slug, and that stands for slow. and that as a R/C
spells failure.
It went back limping to sailing in PHRF and watch it value drop out of
the leaking bottom around the keel bolts

It's hard to make Katy jealous but I keep trying.
One of these days she'll come to her senses, though.

As for "personal", it's not possible to be "personal" on
the newsgroups. It's all so impersonal - just words on
a screen.

On the other hand, those who are wordsmiths can
wield this tool far more effectively than those who
cannot. There is a subset of the functionally illiterate
who use this forum and you can easily see how they
corrupt it. Take Gaynz . . . on second thought, leave
Gaynz. Leave him to his paranoid schizophrenic
dreamworld of gay psychotic aspirations.

Bleach and salt water cleans just about anything. I also use
one of those toilet brushes with the long handle to get into
the cracks and creases.

I don't worry too much about germs because I have this
theory that one must eat plenty of germs in order to keep
a healthy and robust immune system. I have a cast iron

ill. Seafood collected in the cedar bucket will cause
