The reference I have says that two vertical white lights at the mast head is the signal for a tow or pushing a barge... thre vertical lights if it exceeds 200 meters in length (which would be a pretty darn big barge). C. is correct. The other answers all call for a stern light. The barge
being pushed would not have a sternlight, that would be found on the stern of the pushing vessel. wrote in message oups.com... ![]() I was doing it from memory while you had to look it up. Besides, as the answers are written, C is NOT a valid answer. There is no such thing as a sidlight nor a speical flashing light. Regards Doug King Doug, The question is asking about the barge, not the towboat. The three vertical lights on the towboat would involve a towing astern configuration, not towing/pushing ahead. Shen |
