Since Horvath doesn't believe I have a Suzuki GT380 and seems to
think those ugly, shaking, oil-dripping, parts-shedding Harleys are something to brag about, I figured I'd take and post some pictures of a motorcycle to be proud of. http://captneal.homestead.com/GT380.html Even Horvath will enjoy such perfection! CN |

I'm surprised boob doesn't own one ( or ask his wife to buy one), most
of the guys buy them so they can sit at a bar and talk about their Harley. Scotty "Capt. Neal®" wrote in message ... Harley-Davidson = the Mac26X of motorcycles! ![]() There are several biker rallies coming down to Key West all year round. I rarely see a Japanese or European bike on a trailer. They are ridden because they are comfortable and reliable. I do see many Harleys hauled down on trailers so they can be unloaded in Key West and ridden there. Pathetic that Harleys are so unreliable that they cannot be trusted to arrive on their own wheels. Even more pathetic that some Harley owners ride around Key West acting like studs when their iron is tailored in. Pahteuy! CN "Scott Vernon" wrote in message ... Thats a super clean bike for its age.
Back in the early 80's I had a Yahama RD350 it could smoke any big bike on the road in the quarter mile. I suggest you put down bars on it and if you can find one a 1/4 faring. Nothing like a nice cafe racer. Joe |

![]() Stock bike for stock bike, the Yamaha RD 350's were untouchable because they were powerful and LIGHT. My GT380 was no match because it was quite a bit heavier. When I got done souping it up, though, it could beat stock RD 350's all day long. Tell you what, though. Put some 32mm Mikunis and a nice pair of chromed expansion chambers and screw the right jets into those monster carbs and even a Kawasaki 500 triple couldn't touch an RD350 in the quarter. I'm old now and don't like that bent down position of a cafe racer. I do have a nice, matching, silver WindjammerSS with lowers for long-distance touring. It looks great in cruising mode. Been all over the country with it. CN wrote in message oups.com... Thats a super clean bike for its age.
