Then there was the guy who didn't take anchoring seriously and was always dragging around the anchorage. His boat got struck by lightning and burned. Not to mention the asshole who would come screaming through the anchorage(idle speed no wake manatee zone). He got killed when he hit a day mark when he was drunk one night. Blood alcohol lever 02.3. Then there was that damned dog that barked all night long on a neighboring boat. Poor thing fell overboard, tried to swim to shore, made it but got run over crossing US#1 heading for the restaurant where his master worked. Then there was the drug dealer who lived on a wrecked catamaran tied up the mangroves. He had really bad luck. His boat burned to the waterline one night.
