For the love a Pete I was only gone for 2 weeks compared to your 11 months
and I had a valid excise and believe me, I had no idea you had returned. I
didn't even believe Michael's little clue...figured he and Gilly were up to
something....so preen all you want, but all mine was was a temporary leave
of absence that had nothing to do with you at all. In fact, I've had more
fun insulting Bart and Mooron this year. They're much more volatile than
you are when prodded and aren't as predictable in their responses.

Remember when I first returned to this group a few weeks ago
I noted that all the female subscribers had gone away and gone
away disappointed because all that was left after my departure
were males unworthy of any sane woman.

Remember also that I predicted that as soon as the word got
around that a real sailor man had returned the woman would
return if for nothing else than to have a fantasy of possibly
attracting such a real manly man so he would pay attention
to them.

Lo and behold. My prediction has come true. Katysails
finally showed back up (thank God), Lady Pilot returned
(there's a catch for some lucky guy), Haggie is posting
sporatically though she sounds alcoholic, and even Peter
Wiley is posting again.(one for Jonathan-go for it Jon!)
