Why? Because thanks to guys like Senator Kerry, urban fighting has been
cleaned up to look like Miami Vice. When I see the pictures on CNN, the rules
of engagement are not the way I remember them. I don't remember kicking in the
door and looking around for any bad guys while waiting for the point man to
take one in the chest. Seems to me, we sent in a grenade first, sometimes two
grenades! The room got sprayed, after which the point looked around, and
decided if it was clear! Oh, the wrong people got hurt? Gee, they shouldn't
have been there in the first place, and at any rate, better them than you.

This is a dirty business. I don't think we should be fighting a Mid East war,
but at least let the guys doing the fighting....fight!

The Marine on the film made a very serious mistake. He should have shot the
guy with the camera first and then shot the terrorist.
