SAIL LOCO November 9th 04 11:25 PM

Even though I inherited money, I still enjoy working for more. People who
retire early must really hate their careers.

Hate my career! I was lucky enough to spend my life working in a field that
was also one of my hobbies.
As far as working goes, I may decide to do some consulting work now that I've
enjoyed a year of sleeping in late, sailing, running trains and getting under
your skin.

I'd rather take 5 years *off* my age.

Hey, they can add 5 years to my age on paper anytime. :-)

So, you're a drain on society? Sounds quite socialistic to me.

How do you figure?

You claimed you were getting something for nothing. Sounds socialistic
to me.

Where did I say that? I worked all my life. I have a 401K that I paid into
and the company matched, profit sharing and a company funded pension. All part
of a compensation package FOR WORKING.

it. (if you can) g

And some integrity. But what use is that for the likes of you?

Are you saying retired people have no integrity?

My father retired at 63, but he still works and makes money. He was wealthy
enough to retire at 48, but he has a work ethic and a sense of social
responsibility. We think that being retired is generally what kills people.

You see? It's no fun to sit around and not contribute, unless you have no
integrity or have a disease.
