Tell that to Buz. He bought a pistol from his folks paper boy (a young
adult) who claimed his dad had died and his mother needed the $$$ to keep
him in school. Gun turned out stolen but since the value was questionable
the prosecutor offered to let him plead to a misdomeanor. Buz refused. He'd
known the paper boy for years, had paid a fair price, and had witnesses.
Didn't matter. He was charged with a felony and police had a half dozen
burgulars swear he was their fence - in return for dropping charges against
the actual thieves! He got a minimum sentence because his record was
spotless. That's American Justice Maryland style. You could be next ....
