Default So, when's everyone hauling out?

Probably in several weeks. How about everyone else?

In February...right before the first offshore race of the season.
By July, we have to dive to wipe the bottom before each race.

MYC group haulout is the second weekend of October....that's when we're
going like it or not....ith the weather this year, it seems like an even
shorter season than usual....

Weather? We seem to have had some beautiful sailing weather lately,
leastways on the days I've been out. I think they ask us to leave where I am
sometime around the 2nd week of October.

I'm going to wait another season. I have a diver cleaning it monthly.

Why would I want to haul to my boat out?

At BYC.. the harbour crew are already positioning the
cradles in their spots.. but the Harbourmaster has not yet
sey the Haulout Date.. some years I have been able to
sail right to the day before haulout.
I would take the afternoon sail.. then enter the
harbour heading directly to the crane to
remove the mainsail and drop the mast.. then into the
mooring to get ready for the haulout the next day.
It is a sad time of theyear for me.. I just hate to
see the sailing season end..
But if I am lucky.. I may get to sail in Hawai`i
or Barbados.. before the year ends..

At my yacht club, we have to be out by the end of October.
