Katy,
You've seen my boat. Everything else looks good by comparison.

Scotty, those are my captions. "Erie Grog" did the Toledo Deepwater last
year, served as a floating hotel for Bay Week.

100 times! Nice tub, your own caption admits to being a slip queen.
Is it a 33.5?
Why are the hatch boards 2 different shades?
Do you like those stern rail seats?

Scotty

Sometimes Horvath seems the most stupid and then Scotty races forward with
another bloomin' idiot question.

1988: Scotty loses a game of chess to a bag of hammers.
1992: Scotty buys a bigger trailer.
1993: Scotty buys a Mac25
2002: Scotty buys a Siedlemann 30
2004: Scotty loses game of checkers to a box of nails.

If there was a choice, I'd take yours....

No, "Erie Grog" actually races. If North Cape was a little better about
posting their results, you would see it's name from time to time. A fair %
of the folks that do Bay Week sleep on boats, if you have to sleep/live on a
boat for 3-4 days, you could find worse choices. In an ideal world you rent
a condo for the stay(like we did this year), but there are some logistical
problems, you have to drive several vehicles down there, you can't do the
"Deepwater" race, more expensive, blah, blah. Personally, I've never cared
for the look of these Hunters, but it seems like most of the mass production
builders are going that route, very beamy, lot's of freeboard. I'm still
trying to figure out why Hunter's are still held in such low regard. They
build a pretty good boat, probably as good as Catalina or Beneteau, they
also have a lot of owner loyalty, like Catalina. But again, I've never cared
much for the look of the newer ones, they are starting to look a little
better though. I would somewhat agree with Horvath, his boat is nicer than
the Boobs, though probably only 4 or 5 times nicer.

I think they would probably settle for less.

Bought the bigger trailer in '93. Can't you get anything right?

Only at Put-in-bay.

Is it a 33.5?

336 newer and better than a 33.5

Why are the hatch boards 2 different shades?

The ones at the top and bottom are teak. The one in the center is
plastic, smoke colored, to allow in light.

Do you like those stern rail seats?

We call those the "parade seats." We don't use them while sailing,
only at the dock, or while motoring out of the channel past the yacht
club.

Pathetic Earthlings! No one can save you now!

Scott Vernon September 12th 04 10:04 PM

Well, he seems happy with it, which is what really counts. At least
I've never heard him call her a stepping stone.
