Dumb and Dumbest

Here are the dumbest people in our little group, living and dead....

Horvath
Bought a Hunter and thinks Bush "never lies." Good grief.

Scotty Potti
Not a true idiot, but he did buy two POS boats in a row and agrees with Horvath
on Bush.

Loco Loser
This poor fool thinks his Lincoln is a good car, thinks Bush is honest and is
nearly as angry as old Dr. Armpit was.

Joe
Yeah, he's probably voting for Kerry. But if he's for real, then we have to
assume brain damage.

My Pick: Horvath is, BY FAR, the dumbest person ever to click into this group.
Loco, who's almost as humorless as poor Steve, is a close second.

Looks like your dock lines are screwed up and you've got your shore
powercord wrapped around your neighbor's boat. Either that or you're
stealing his hookup.

I guess. :-)

It is getting a bit tiresome, though. Perhaps I'll just return you to the

Is it a 33.5?
Why are the hatch boards 2 different shades?
Do you like those stern rail seats?

Hey, I like the fact that the cockpit isn't cluttered up with winches.
Having only one small winch on either side really opens things up for
dockside entertaining, which is what that lovely hottub inspired
cockpit seems ideally suited for. Looking at the picture, though, I
can't see how a bimini could be installed, which would make it a bit
impractical for actually being out in the weather much of the time,
but I'll bet it has a nice microwave.

Sometimes Horvath seems the most stupid and then Scotty races forward with
another bloomin' idiot question.

1988: Scotty loses a game of chess to a bag of hammers.
1992: Scotty buys a bigger trailer.
1993: Scotty buys a Mac25
2002: Scotty buys a Siedlemann 30
2004: Scotty loses game of checkers to a box of nails.

John Cairns September 12th 04 01:46 AM

No, "Erie Grog" actually races. If North Cape was a little better about
posting their results, you would see it's name from time to time. A fair %
of the folks that do Bay Week sleep on boats, if you have to sleep/live on a
boat for 3-4 days, you could find worse choices. In an ideal world you rent
a condo for the stay(like we did this year), but there are some logistical
problems, you have to drive several vehicles down there, you can't do the
"Deepwater" race, more expensive, blah, blah. Personally, I've never cared
for the look of these Hunters, but it seems like most of the mass production
builders are going that route, very beamy, lot's of freeboard. I'm still
trying to figure out why Hunter's are still held in such low regard. They
build a pretty good boat, probably as good as Catalina or Beneteau, they
also have a lot of owner loyalty, like Catalina. But again, I've never cared
much for the look of the newer ones, they are starting to look a little
better though. I would somewhat agree with Horvath, his boat is nicer than
the Boobs, though probably only 4 or 5 times nicer.

I think they would probably settle for less.

Only at Put-in-bay.

Is it a 33.5?

336 newer and better than a 33.5

Why are the hatch boards 2 different shades?

The ones at the top and bottom are teak. The one in the center is
plastic, smoke colored, to allow in light.

Do you like those stern rail seats?

We call those the "parade seats." We don't use them while sailing,
only at the dock, or while motoring out of the channel past the yacht
club.
