Seriously Bob... the weight differences between a 6 hp and a 9.9hp shouldn't
be the deciding factor. They are minimal

The Tohatsu/Nissan 4 cycle 6 weighs 55 lbs. The 9.9 weighs 114 lbs.
Mooron, please don't give advice when you don't have a clue. It's embarassing
for you...and us.

Bob... you are fixated on a four stroke... don't bother. A two stroke is
just fine for your use and much cheaper. My 9.9 is easily handled with one
hand and hoisting into place on the rail when stowed is a piece of cake.

In regards to advise Bob... you asked.. don't start whining now!

I have over 40 years experience with kickers. I won't give you bad advise.

There are no two strokes available here anymore. All dealers must sell the
superior and cleaner 4s. The 4s are quiet and require no fuel mix as well.

Ah... victims of the Greenies!

We can still buy 2 strokes here.

Heh... those 4 stroke chainsaws must weigh a ton!
