I imagine Yugos are better than they were a few years ago, as well. The
question
is, "Better than what?"

Better than the current crop from Beneteau and on par with what I saw from
Catalina and Bavaria Yachts. The Hunter's like Horvath's were built badly, no
doubt about it, but Hunter seems to have cleaned up their act somewhat.

I wonder if young Thomas will agree with his dad?

Will Thomas feel that his father's old "stepping stone" gives him any
street cred?

I can just picture the scene (in a few years):

Thomas: "That's my dad's boat!"
Schoolfriends: "Bwahahahaaa. It's an old wreck. It's only a stepping
stone"
Thomas: "My daddy says that it is better than a new Hunter.!
Schoolfriends: "Bwahahahaaa."
.......[Thomas runs home in tears]

Sorry, Donal. I was sailing most of the day aboard a friend's J29. Now, what
was that?

Scotty Potti will crawl up anyone's butt, it would appear. He should give
Horvath a call.

Bavaria Yachts, Nutsy?

Have you walked thru one of them without cracking you head? There is
more headroom in most American 22 footers, than in their 35.

Nutsy, you have taste for S--t

You're off topic again, Tom. We were talking build quality, not quantity or
boats "we like. I don't recall bumping my head on the 38 below.
