yeah, Fox and another TV crew were there. Asked me for an interview,
but I told them all I knew was scuttle-but from the docks. They said
that was good enough, but I declined.

,,,First report was that he was hit by the boom and fell in.

Later, the
water cop told me he was hit by the boom, but told his brother he

was
ok, Then, later went swimming and drown.

The local news has been reporting it as a boating accident stating

the guy was
hit with the boom.

Now, the big question;--- use the Boom rigged with a Topping Lift or

One hell of an exciting trip report, Scottie!

Did you take one loop around the bathtub or two?

day. Came out of the anchorage with 1/2 the genny out, main still
tied down, got up to 6kts instantly. left the sails like this the
whole day, never got below 5 kts. Nice, wet, fun ride. )))))))

Thanks, Steve. That's what I saw too. No sustained 25 not winds for any length
of time as scotty reported. I have a buddy near Scotty with a C&C 24 and he
said averages were in the 15 knot range with a spike of higher wind as the sun
set.
