can anyone explain what a canting bow sprit is and why?
i don't understand it. does it allow a few more degrees of tuning a spinnaker towards a reach? |

The canting bowsprit allows the sprit to imitate a conventional spinnaker pole. It swivels out to one side or the other to bring the tack of the spinnaker out to the side. Fresh Breezes Doug King |
