Bart,
If you're going to take congressional records, how about comparing Kerry's record of purposed bill that have passed into laws (His success rate) you'll find it to be higher than Cheney's. In fact among the most successful. Ole Thom |

We are talking about using his record to define
where he stands. His record shows him to be as far left as he could be. Kerry doesn't talk about what he stands for. He doesn't have the backbone for this. He is spineless. Wait, I thought you said he was an extremist! Don't
start backpeddling now! -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Bart Senior" wrote in message . net... Thom, Kerry's record is clear. He is the most extreme liberal in Congress, tied with several others for that title. If you want unbiased assessments, look at all the special interest groups ratings on his voting record. Kerry is rated 0 or 100 for most of them, meaning he is at the extreme. They are invaluable in showing where an incumbent has stood on a series of votes in the past years. Ratings by groups on all sides of an issue are listed. When taken as a whole, these are compared, give a balanced view of the candidate. http://www.vote-smart.org/issue_rati...an_id=S0421103 Kerry won't make a stand. Here's more proof. Senator John Forbes Kerry Democrat refused to take the NPAT. He won't even discuss what he will support! The National Political Awareness Test (NPAT) is a key component of Project Vote Smart's Voter Self-Defense system. It asks candidates one central question: "Are you willing to demonstrate a good faith effort to provide voters with your inclinations on the issues you will most likely face on the citizen's behalf?" The NPAT is administered to all candidates for presidential, congressional, gubernatorial, and state legislative offices. The National Political Awareness Test (NPAT) asks candidates which items they will support if elected. It does not ask them to indicate which items they will oppose. Research of public polling data, shows voters are more concerned with what candidates would support when elected to office, not what they oppose. Now Compare Kerry to Sen Liberman, who did take NPAT. His voting record: show substantial variation and a more moderate position. Take the NPAT yourself and ask yourself why a politician would not take it, unless he wants to mislead the public. http://www.vote-smart.org/match_section.php Chose congressional voting records and find who matches your opinions. "Thom Stewart" wrote Nice try Bart, I do think it would be nice to keep Conservative's view vs Liberal's view on the front page for awhile. Your comments are missing? Don't you have anything to say in rebuttal? Ole Thom |

Bart,
Where he stands is what will get him (Kerry) elected. That is if they elect him by the true vote and not by Court Ruling. As of right now; Liberalism has less shame to it than Conservatism! A close election for sure but the Liberal side is moving ahead as the Wacko Conservatives spout off with untruth after untruth. King George gets a kick in the ass every time the RNP releases another unconfirmed News release. Just keep fueling the fire. It drives more Moderates to broad minded mentality (as you say; Liberals) Ole Thom |

Well most Americans are wising up, that is why Bush is going to win. The
Liberals just want you to think the majority thinks like they do. Liberals are NOT the majority. American is primarily conservative. The liberals are just concentrated around the big cities and the media. "Jonathan Ganz" wrote in message ... Well, there you go folks... the average American is stupid. But, according to the right-wing extemists such as Bart, they're the ones going to vote for Bush in record numbers. I think I'll vote for Kerry. |
