A few people here have my real email address Scout.

Year's ago when I intially posted here I used my real address...... the
junk mail surged to unreal proportions. I learned my lesson the hard way.

My addy is real but I don't use it. AT&T won't allow access to the ng's
without their monogram. I've discussed AT&T with others in here and no one
else has suggested a way around it, so I try not to worry about it. Still,
it sucks when someone posts something like they did with Thom's addy. What
can one say, the world has no shortage of assholes.
I'm no lawyer but I'm pretty sure in the US, email tampering is considered
similar to USPS Mail tampering, and treated as a federal offense. Let's hope
the criminals keep doing their thing long enough to get caught. My guess is
that they are just talented enough to make trouble. It takes more than
average talent to make significant positive contributions. I think we're
seeing frustration in action.

You're right about it being a PITA but it isn't all that bad for me. I
have a WebTV Unit. I don't have a memory unit. My memory is in Palo
Alto, Calif.
They can block out viruses both coming and going.
I let them worry about the problem

MicroSoft took over the Web a while back and us old webber with our Sony
aren't getting updated like we should. My unit is getting pretty old and
I do need replacement. I'll be going to the new MS Box soon, now that
they have finally developed (grin) their own. At $60.00 every five years
I don't feel like I have a right bitch;

Maybe when I get the new unit I'll modify my e-mail addy (Maybe)
