They work as excellent hole stoppers since they expand...a jiffy/jury rig
fix until you can come up with something better....

For the tampon tip.

One back to you. Pampers. Used pretty much as you say but also also used
for big wipe ups, oil spill (careful of combustion in disposal) Draft
stoppers, padding, etc

I wouldn't pack them in sea bag use though. Same for those silk undies.
When I was younger my private parts responded in a way that wasn't very
good for long distance voyaging.
